Project Overview:
Wilkes-Barre General Hospital initially engaged GREYSTONE to perform a Market and Feasibility Study for a comprehensive healthcare services facility in the Mountain Top, PA area. Development of the new M.O.B. commenced immediately after the study and initial occupancy occurred within a year.

Description:
This multi-tenant medical office building was developed to grow market share for the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital and to house Primary Care physicians along with various off-campus hospital services including an Urgent/After-Hours Clinic, comprehensive diagnostics (CT, X-Ray, Mammography, Ultrasound and Lab) and Physical Therapy. The Mountain Top Campus is Wilkes-Barre General Hospital’s first satellite facility serving the Wyoming Valley region of Pennsylvania.
The single-story, split-faced block structure includes a number of sustainable and environmentally conscious design components along with sound insulation and motion-sensor lighting throughout the patient areas.
The initial tenants for the facility including InterMountain Medical Group and an array of hospital departments, occupied the facility in 2012.
